These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Retro Football Prints website and to any orders placed through the website.
By using this website or placing an order with Retro Football Prints, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or placing an order.
In these Terms & Conditions, “Retro Football Prints“, “RFP”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Retro Football Prints, and “you” and “your” refer to the person using our website or placing an order with us.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living outside the UK, this does not affect any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.
1. Products & Artwork
All products displayed on our website are subject to availability.
We take care to ensure that product descriptions, images and colours are presented as accurately as possible. However, colours displayed on computer, tablet and mobile screens may vary slightly from the actual printed product.
Our standard printed products are generally produced to order. Product dimensions, materials, finishes and other relevant specifications will be stated on the applicable product page where appropriate.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, our football-related artwork is unofficial artwork created by Retro Football Prints and is not produced, endorsed, sponsored or authorised by any football club, football association or other sporting organisation.
Where a product incorporates a reference to a football club, player, stadium, historical event or similar subject, this does not imply any official affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.
2. Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£).
The price applicable to an order is the price displayed at the time the order is placed and payment is successfully completed.
We reserve the right to amend product prices, offers and promotions at any time. Such changes will not affect an order for which payment has already been successfully completed.
If an obvious pricing or product description error occurs on the website, we reserve the right to correct the error and, where necessary, cancel an affected order and provide a full refund.
3. Orders & Payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and successful payment.
We accept payment through the payment methods displayed at checkout, which may include:
- Credit and debit cards
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Link
- Klarna
Payments are processed securely through our payment providers, Stripe.
An order confirmation will normally be sent by email following successful completion of an order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a genuine reason to do so, including suspected fraudulent activity, an obvious pricing or product description error, or circumstances where we are unable to fulfil an order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.
4. Printed Products
Our standard printed products are generally produced to order.
Estimated production and delivery times are provided on the website where applicable. We aim to meet stated timescales, but occasional delays may occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.
5. Cancellation & Returns – Standard Printed Products
If you purchase a standard printed product online as a consumer, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.
If you wish to exercise your cancellation right, please contact us within the applicable cancellation period.
After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you must return the goods to us within the applicable return period. Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods.
Returned goods should be packaged securely and handled with reasonable care.
You may examine the goods to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality. If goods are handled beyond what would reasonably be permitted for inspection and their value is consequently diminished, we may be entitled to make an appropriate deduction from the refund where permitted by law.
Where a valid cancellation is exercised, we will refund the applicable amount in accordance with your statutory rights. This will normally include the cost of standard delivery paid when the order was placed. Any additional amount paid for an upgraded delivery service is not normally refundable.
We may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned to us or you have provided evidence that they have been returned.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with details of the problem.
We will work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with your statutory consumer rights. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, repair, price reduction or refund.
6. Personalised & Custom-Made Products
Some of our products are available as personalised or custom-made prints and are produced specifically to the customer’s individual requirements.
Because these products are made to the customer’s individual specification, the normal 14-day cancellation right does not apply to personalised or custom-made products, except where the product is faulty, damaged or otherwise does not conform to the order.
Before production, you are responsible for checking that any personalisation details you provide, including names, dates, wording, photographs or other information, are correct.
Once a personalised or custom-made order has entered production, it cannot normally be cancelled or amended.
If we make an error in producing a personalised product, or if the product arrives faulty, damaged or does not match the agreed specification, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue in accordance with your statutory rights.
7. Digital Downloads
Digital products are supplied electronically and may be made available for immediate download following successful payment.
Digital downloads are supplied for personal use only and are subject to the separate Digital Download Purchase Licence supplied with the product.
The purchase of a digital download does not grant any right to reproduce, copy, manufacture, sell, resell, redistribute, share or commercially exploit the digital artwork or any physical products created from it.
Where immediate access to a digital download is requested, you will be asked to expressly consent to the digital content being supplied immediately and to acknowledge that, once supply begins, you may lose your statutory right to cancel the purchase.
Once supply of the digital content has begun following the required consent and acknowledgement, the order will generally be non-refundable except where required by law, including where the digital content is faulty or does not conform to the contract.
If you experience a technical problem with a digital download, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions or the Digital Download Purchase Licence affects your statutory rights relating to faulty digital content.
8. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All artwork, designs, illustrations, graphics, images, digital files, text and other original content created by Retro Football Prints remain the intellectual property of Retro Football Prints or the relevant rights holder.
All rights are reserved unless expressly stated otherwise.
Purchasing a printed product does not transfer ownership of the underlying artwork and does not grant permission to reproduce, scan, copy, manufacture or commercially exploit the artwork.
Digital files
Any digital print files purchased or downloaded from this website are supplied for personal use only.
No commercial reproduction, resale or redistribution rights are granted with the purchase of a digital file.
It is strictly prohibited to:
- Reproduce or redistribute our digital files for commercial purposes
- Use our digital files to manufacture products for resale
- Sell or distribute the digital files themselves
- Sell physical products created from our digital downloads
- Give away our digital files or physical reproductions as promotional incentives or free gifts
- Share, distribute or otherwise make our digital files available to third parties
If you wish to reproduce or sell our artwork commercially, you must contact us regarding appropriate commercial or wholesale arrangements.
9. Wholesale & Commercial Resale
Our standard retail products are sold for personal use and do not include commercial resale or reproduction rights.
If you wish to purchase our printed artwork for the purpose of reselling it to your own customers, you must do so through our dedicated Wholesale / Trade Portal and agree to the applicable wholesale terms.
Wholesale customers purchase authorised physical printed products under our separate trade terms. Those terms govern the permitted resale and commercial use of wholesale purchases.
Purchasing a standard retail product, whether printed or digital, does not grant permission to reproduce the artwork or commercially resell copies of the artwork.

10. Delivery
Delivery options and associated costs are displayed at checkout.
We offer FREE Second Class Postage within the UK on all orders (3-5 working days). There is also an option to upgrade to Royal Mail Tracked 48 at checkout for a small additional cost for quicker delivery
We take care to package orders securely before dispatch and use the delivery service selected at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Postal Insurance
We obtain Certificate of Postage for all orders dispatched, so you will be protected against loss of order – up to the compensation level assigned by Royal Mail (£20 as standard).
If your order is to a value greater than £20, you are highly recommended to use the Tracked 48 upgrade options, which offers higher insurance cover.
Loss or damage in transit
Although we take every reasonable care when packaging your order, postal items can occasionally be lost or damaged during transit.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of:
- the damaged product;
- the outer packaging;
- the internal packaging; and
- any visible damage to the parcel.
Please retain the packaging until the matter has been resolved, as it may be required for a postal claim.
If your order appears to have been lost, please contact us so that we can investigate the matter with Royal Mail and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or other appropriate resolution.
Royal Mail’s compensation arrangements and claim timescales apply to the postal service used. We will handle the matter with Royal Mail on your behalf wherever reasonably possible.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
For international orders, delivery times may be affected by customs procedures, local postal services and other circumstances outside our control.
11. International Orders
We accept orders from customers outside the United Kingdom where international delivery is available at checkout.
International customers are responsible for ensuring that the products ordered can lawfully be imported into their destination country.
Any customs duties, import taxes, local taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
International delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by customs clearance and local delivery services.
Where you are a consumer living outside the UK, nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.
12. Personal Information
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By placing an order, you agree that we may process the information necessary to fulfil your order, process payment, arrange delivery and provide customer support in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Third-Party Links & Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.
Where we provide such links, they are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for the content, availability, policies or practices of those third-party websites.
Any transaction or interaction you undertake with a third party will be subject to that third party’s own terms and conditions and policies.
14. Website Use
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information contained on our website is accurate and up to date.
However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or completely free from errors.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend or withdraw any part of the website where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, technical reasons or circumstances outside our control.
You must not use our website or its content for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of Retro Football Prints or any third party.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will always be made available on this page, together with the date on which it was last updated.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applying to an order that has already been accepted and paid for, except where required by law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living outside the United Kingdom, this does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.
